This is the personal blog of Brady Dorman. I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a degree in architecture. During college I worked part-time as a city bus driver, furthering my interest in public transit. I currently work as an Intern Architect in Cedar Rapids, and live in nearby Iowa City with my wife Emily and our cat, Boston. We recently purchased a 115 year-old home, which consumes the majority of my free time and interest.

Past topics of my blog include architecture, urban design, public transit, my study abroad experience in Rome, and redevelopment in Cedar Rapids following the 2008 flood. New posts will focus mostly on home improvement projects, exploring the history of our house, and experiencing my new hometown.
